/on soapbox/ Just watched News 4 for Washington, DC; two more shootings last night in the District, this time two military guys (no additional details) 1 dead, 1 critical. So what does the local politician want to do- CLOSE THE CLUB- Not a SINGLE $%^& word about enforcing the gun laws :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

The next story is a shooting in another area of DC, another one critical, no suspects, nada, but the police are "investigating"... Of course, they are still looking for the Chief's car that was stolen last week. Hopefully the congresscritters will have enough sense to get rid of that idiotic law and let people at least protect themselves... /off soapbox/

I hope so, too; considering the measure has to make it through the Senate, however, I wouldn't bet a nickel on it. The Senate is packed to the rafters with socialist parasites of the most despicable type, who'd rather see the law-abiding citizens of Washington, D.C. live—and die—on their knees than stand up and fight back.

Sadly, you're porbably right Standing Wolf... :cuss: I live over in Arlington so I don't have a problem, but I do have friends that live in DC proper because they don't want to commute. I keep telling them commuting is better than dying, but they just don't get it. :banghead: :banghead:
