I am looking for some 5.45x39 ammo for a WASR2 that i should have soon. Seems like everyone is out. I have a order with the Sportsman guide, but their are on back order to June.

Is there any reason while everyone is out? Wolf not shipping it in?

If anyone has a source that has it in stock, let me know.

    Thanks
    Brion

Lots of wolf is back ordered, no one really knows why. I had a similar 5.45 back order with SG last year and it filled way before they said it would, so theres hope for that I guess.

Some THR member probably has it all in his basement :p

I just ordered two SPAM cans of 7.62x39 Wolf from Cabelas and it should be here Monday. Something tells me that as backorders for 7.62x39 start getting filled and things get back to normal there, Wolf will work to do the same with the 5.45mm. But until then, my thinking would have me believe there aren't near as many 5.45mm rifles as 7.62mm rifles out there, so Wolf's main priority from a business standpoint is always going to be where the larger share of the market is.

I need to pick some up as well. I'll have to check around the stores in the area to see if anyone has some. I know a couple stores I haven't been to in a while anyway.

Considering that the new Iraqi army fires mostly the same ammo (7.62x39)
as the old one, no wonder there's big piles of it sitting over there...unused!
