Pretty sure most load books don't want to list +P data probably for liability purposes, but where can I find +P data for 45 ACP and 9mm Gold Dots and FMJ. I really want to get some 230 grain 45s up to 1050 fps and 147 grain 9s up to 1100 fps if safely possible. I have heard Accurate 5, Ramshot Shillouette, and VN 350 might be hot enough. But how many grains and what OAL? Even better if some folks have used Shillouette, Universal, and HP-38/Win231 to get these fps as that is the pistol powder I have on hand. Who knows maybe I don't even need +P for the desired fps? I have already looked over the Ramshot, Accurate, Hodgdon, Lyman, and Lee manuals.
RC, Bushmaster where you at?

The old Ramshot data for Enforcer listed the highest velocities I have ever seen in .45 with standard pressures. It has Silhouette data in 9MM and in .45 as well. It also has True Blue data in +P 9MM

.45 230 Gr XTP 4" barrel 1025 FPS @ 19,516 PSI with Enforcer. That's smokin'

I could email you the PDF.

There are only 4 SAAMI designations of +P

Cartridge and Maximum Average Pressure (PSI)

9mm Luger 35,000
9mm Luger +P 38,500

38 Special 17,000
38 Special +P 18,500

38 Super Auto +P 36,500

45 Auto 21,000
45 Auto +P 23,000

I have seen +P in some of the powder distributer on-line loading data manuals, but if you have listings in PSI you can easily pick out which loads will be just below or at the listed SAAMI regular pressure data.

I have read some loaders extrapolating +P loads from regular load data. However, I wouldn't recommend it.

Years ago I purchased a bunch of Speer 9mm 124gr GDHP +p rounds. When chronographed they averaged 1186 fps from my Beretta 8000F (3.6" barrel) and 1231 fps from my Beretta 92FS (4.9" barrel).

These velocities are not hard to get with this bullet at normal SAAMI pressures (35k psi or less) with Power Pistol or 3N37.

I'm here, but you don't want to hear what I have to say.

IMO: Either of your goals would be very hard on guns, with little gain in actual real-world performance.

In my Speer #12 the only +P load data they have is for 38 Super Auto and 38 Special. I thiugh you might want to know.
