Where to buy 9mm Bullets

I like MBC (Missouri Bullet ) the offer a 5% discount for THR members. Bullets normally come in boxes of 500 and shoipping is $14 for 4 boxes (2000) When I order 9mm they can take a 5th box and dumpo it into the other 4 so you can get 2500 shipped for that fee. They are great to do business with and offer a quality product. THere is a thread for the code, someone will PM it to you or feel free to PM me.

Wow, thanks for all the great replies! I'll definitely be checking out all these different sources. One more question. I'm slightly confused as to why these companies are selling mixed lot's of 115/124 for so much cheaper, I mean, I get that the user has to sort the ammo out, but if these companies are making the bullets themselves wouldn't they already be separated???? I'm guessing there some reason, I really have no clue though.....

Anyway's thanks again!

EDIT: Or rather if Jake could answer why RMR has that specific package. For some reason I thought he was the owner of another one of the companies mentioned here.

Rmr does not manufacture plated/jacketed bullets, only lead. They buy in bulk and resell. He will buy bullets that are in mixed lots occasionally. My guess is it's easier and cheaper to sell them at a discount as opposed to paying employees to sort them.

I have enjoyed above vendors MBC (Missouri Bullet Co.) and http://www.rmrbullets.com/ RMR for pulled Jacketed Hollow Point bullets.

Another fine supplier with a discount to TheHighRoad is Dardas Cast bullets.

They offer a couple of different options than some others : 9mm LSWC with a flat base (the flat base is an upgrade from bevel base believed to be one of the advantages of JHP or THP in 9mm). They also offer a double ended wadcutter in 38 special (LDEWC). Discount code for THR members is: HIGHROAD

Delivery is very fast and a nice cleanly molded product. Check'em out you'll be very pleasantly surprised.

PS they offer width/diameter choices and I ordered a non-common diameter and it was delivered just as fast as the regular order.

We specialize in helping manufacturers sell products that aren't first quality or perfectly shiny. Every company gets new employees or some employees who usually do other jobs that don't quite get the system yet and they make mistakes. What happened with the mixed bullets was the result of a company using employees who are usually brass sorters to help consolidate an overstock of 9mm bullets into smaller barrels so that more could be put on a single pallet. Well, being in the brass side of things and probably not knowing anything about bullets, they just threw everything they could find into the smaller barrels and didn't notice that they were two different bullets. We avoid sorting bullets when we can because it is IMPOSSIBLE to get a perfect sort every time. The human brain can only process such menial tasks for so long before it shuts off.

We also sell first quality stuff and most recently we have had some plated bullets made specifically for us. They aren't manufactured in house, but the quality of them seems to be pretty good. The bases are a little different than what one might expect from a plated bullet but accuracy seems to be really good.

I've been using cast bullets from SNS, they are hard and shoot good. I recently tried their
coated bullet, they shoot good also. The only neg. I see with coated ones is I shoot alot at 200 yards at a silhoutte targed and my pals spotten for me can't see the the bullet in
flight. The cast lead you see alot better. Happy shooten

Precision Delta for nice thick fmj bullets. X-treme for Plated bullets.

9mm 115-147gr
.45acp 185-230gr

Both good companies, both good products.

be safe.
