Where to buy Makarovs in Phoenix

Bear Arms would probably have them. They carry most of the surplus pistols that AIM and SOG are always selling online.

They are very freindly as well. I bought a Star BM from them that jammed on every shot. I took it back and they gave me another one.

J&G Sales

If you haven't been to J&G Sales in Prescott, you should go. It is worth the trip. I drive up to Prescott from Tucson about twice a year just to go to J&G. Very nice folks, a bunch of guns and very good prices.

BTW, J&G have Bulgarian Maks for $129.95 in their ad in the latest Shotgun News. They usually have a bunch to choose from.

When we were living downtown, my wife and I drove up to J&G to get her a Makarov a couple years ago. Nice selection too. During this time of year, I'd definitely make the trip just to cool off a little.

Otherwise, I'll fully recommend Bear Arms. Good people there.

Shooters World had a used Russian .380 with the adjustable sights that I looked at Sunday. It was in very good condition. No box or paperwork but it came with two mags and a cheap holster. I almost purchased it but talked myself out of it. The price was $124.

Mandall's in Scottsdale had a couple, but they are going out of business in a couple of weeks!!

Probably becuase they are over priced and sell used guns for more then new ones. Or its the way they treat you when you walk in the door. If you dont look like money forget about getting freindly help.

Not too sad that they are closing. The owner was nuts anyways. Thought he was Jesus reincarnate, no joke. Must have been the shooting range in the basement with no vents.

Wow, I was just in there to look around. (I would never buy anything at Mandall's.) Perhaps they're also going out of business because they seemed to have like 5 employees just sitting around when I was the only guy in there, heh. One of them was actually friendly.

Their location can't help too much either, I would imagine it's damned expensive to have land there.
