Where to buy MK II Mags...

Call Ruger, used to be they'd sell you all the six parts that make a magazine individually at a price that added up to just a tad over $9/mag. That's how I got most of mine.

Yes but Ruger MKII mags are not so hard to find that you should need to pay full MSRP retail.

I found some Ram-Line stainless steel 12-round mags at a gun show for $15ea. They work well enough I'd love to find some for my 22/45 as well. Since our plate rack has 12 plates in a bank these are perfect.

Wally mentioned getting the parts from Ruger for the mag for about $9....but from what I understand, that's a little loophole Ruger has since closed. It's been a couple years, I believe, since the parts route prices were raised.

Don't buy from Gander Mountain. I used to buy these mags from there for $10 which was just fine, but now they are $20. I don't have the gun anymore, and don't think I'll get another if that's how much I have to pay just for the mags.
