Where to get a converted siaga 12?

So I'd really like a converted Siaga 12, but I'm not sure I'm up to doing the conversion my self. It doesn't look super hard, but I'm not exactly Mr. handy.

Where can you get preconverted Siagas? I've only been able to find them at atlanticfirearms.com and mississippiautoarms.com and they both want a pretty steep premium for the conversion. Are there any other good sources of converted Siagas?

Just how big of magazines can you get for the Saiga's now? Is it true they have drum magazines for them?

Your best bet is going to be to get lucky and find a private seller with one for a good price.

You're much better off buying an unconverted one and converting it yourself at this point. Instructions are here and also here.

As for magazines, There are 10 and 12 round aftermarket mags available and at least 3 different variations on a drum (of course none of the drums take 3" shells, just 2.75").

Cadiz Gun Works in Ohio does good work (they also do the warranty work for RRA). They have what are called "NoBama Specials" which are bare bones S12 conversion for somewhere around $700. They are good people too.

Sending a Saiga out for conversion because "I don't think I can do it." is a cop out.

If you can change the oil in your car, you can convert a Saiga. Read this thread and tell me this guy had a hard time of it . . .

I would avoid "private sellers" as there are a lot of shady folks out there preying on the ignorant.
