well guys it just came to my attention but i need some small pistol primers and so someone could help me to where i can get some as i need 100-200 primers right now as i'm just now getting into loading 9mm and i have everything else so any info would be appreciated? thanks guys!

Yep, and the same is true of SR primers. Don't expect any to become available (unless you get lucky) until well after the Election. And if Biden wins, much longer than that.

Unfortunately you have to become really good at online shopping, over paying, checking out ASAP and hope your order isn’t cancelled due to lack of inventory. A couple months ago I could find sleeves at BassPro and Academy but not anymore.

+1 In the past several weeks I've obtained Remington 1.5 Small Pistol Primers, Remington 5.5 Small Pistol Primers, and Winchester Small Pistol Magnum Primers among others as online orders. Using the free ship-to-store option to my nearest store (which happens to be a Bass Pro Shop) I didn't have to pay any HazMat fees or shipping costs. If you use ship to an address a $20 HaxMat fee is added and shipping costs may be added depending on the order total.

What's available in terms of primer categories and brands is variable and changes unpredictability so if you see what you want when you look, my advice is to place an order quickly for it. This system also hasn't let me know available quantities until after I reach the end of the order process. When that's happened I start over again with a lower quantity in my online shopping cart using trial and error. I haven't been penalized in any way thus far for making multiple orders with small quantities vs a single order with a larger quantity.

primers and its seems popular pill brands are rarer than a covid vaccine right now lol. best bet is to check your favorite sites every hour or use ammoseek :p

Check every single gun shop in town. Look to expand your search locally out to about 100 miles. I've had luck at some of the small mom n pop shops getting powder and some primers. Unfortunately they pass the costs on as I've seen single boxes (100) primers selling for nearly $10. Powder remains flat I suppose between $25 & $40 a pound when it's available. If you are willing to travel hit the small towns with smaller populations. If you ride a motorcycle its a great excuse to get out n ride. Like everyone else said: if you find something online buy it fast and don't second guess your order otherwise someone will beat you to it and be willing to buy in bulk as the shipping plus hazmat will set you back $40 or more. Let me be the first to welcome you to the finer aspects of being a handloader.
Regards

Keep an eye on the where are reloading components thread stickied at the top.
