Surplusammo.com had cases of the stuff at $380/1000, then it was $400/1000, no more now. Nice recent manufactured Lake City M2 ball. I was all set to get a CMP Garand and enjoy. :banghead:

I guess I can't complain about hoarders if I was planning on doing the same. Crap.
 
I'm still sitting on a couple cans of M72 on en blocs (240rds per can), and I'm open to reasonable offers...:)
 
I was going to suggest J&G Sales, but it looks like they are sold out also. I guess the Greek stuff is selling well. CMP did say they were raising their prices a bit to slow down demand.
 
I just got 1920 rounds of HXP from the CMP before the price went up. Bought as much LC from them as I could when they had it. I have a couple thousand non-corrosive Korean that works well too. Need to feed the 9 Garands.
 
I bet alot of people were buying from CMP and reselling. CMP put a hold on this with their new purchase limits.

That's the majority opinion over on the CMP Forum. The limit is 12 cases/year, so you can still get over 5,500 rounds per year. That's enough to feed a few Garands and provide brass to reload for several more.
