I've been searching and attempting to find a replica Colt's Paterson on the web but no body has any to sale. Check'd DGW, Cabelas etc all the normal places but none to be found. Does Pietta and uberti still make them? Where's the Paterson's?

Any help in suggesting a dealer who might have one would be much appreciated.

Thanks

I've always wanted to name my son Colt (last name is Patterson) and on his 18th birthday get him one of these. Replica or not, would be a cool gift. I also couldn't find any on the net :(

The price on that Gunbroker Paterson is way too high, and it doesn't include the seperate loading lever.
They're a great gun if you can find one (at a reasonable price).

Guns Amarican may have some and at a better price than the one on gunbroker.

I sold my Uberti Paterson w/ loadin' lever last year it went for over $550 Unfired in the box all like new, and that was a good price then.
The guy really wanted it and I really needed the bucks or would a kept it.

Your not going to find a cheap Paterson. Pedersoli made them at one time, I would like to find one of those.

New and old.

Nothing like a Paterson, porcupine quill holster.

Smokin Gun thanks for posting the picture. Even though it seems that I cant buy one right now, its nice to look at some.

Cratebuilder beautiful arms and holster. That quilled holster took many hours of hand labor to make. The tassels or locks appear to be bison hair, nice blue padre or pony beads, tiny white seed beads and a couple of brass beads. The maker had a great eye for detail and knowledge of the subject. It appears to be the style of the northern plains culture. Do you know who made it? Thanks for posting a picture of it.

Gonna have to make myself an adult bib for when I'm on THR to keep the drool off of my chin and shirt.

Thanks for your response and keep them pix coming.

Just saw this one on Dixie. Don't know if it's exactly what you're looking for or not.

Thanks for your information but I have tried ordering from DGW, Taylor, Midway and just about everyone who is a dealer for Pietta et. al. Dixie even had a used one listed in "miscellaneous replica firearms", but, it too had already been sold. They advertise, but, they dont have them in stock. And, there in, being the conundrum.

I wouldn't buy the one listed on Auction Arms based on the sellers evasive and questionable reply to a question from a potential buyer. I have bought and sold enough on the internet (over 2,000 items) to sense when a seller isn't telling the whole truth.
