Those look like Winchester 115 grain FMJ bullets, and if loading for a pistol that you know has a fairly "large" groove diameter, or one that tend to, i.e. Beretta's, HP, P38, etc, I would go with the hollow base to start. This bullet should obturate well (expand under pressure to seal) at typical 9mm pressures, and really get a good purchase on the rifling.
Kind of like the same idea behind the Minié ball, cept it was for easier muzzle loading.
