Which Garand, Breda Or Winchester

A friend of mine has this option, he will not be able to test any of the weapons. Which of them has the best reputation? It will be used as a shooter. He is not a collector.

For a shooter, I'd say the one in better shape. For a collector, the Breda. They are harder to find.

Actually, the Breda is likely to be in better shape since it was made after WWII and missed out on hard war-time use. That's not a guarantee, but it might make a difference.
 
There's a bigger cult that worships the Winchesters, but either would be fine, the Breda will probably be better finished and look nicer as the winchester receivers were made pretty rough (in comparison with the other garand manufacturers)
