While I am in the Shotgun room let me ask a question...I have a Mossberg 500 pump 12GA...I saw a Itachia(spelling) pump for around $200.00 in your opinion which is the better gun...or are they the same quality...I really like the the the Itachia looked but my Mossberg has never failed...but I do not shoot it often...

I like the Ithaca 37 better, but it's not a major amount. Both are good shotguns well capable of serving a family for more than one generation.
The Ithaca has a crossbolt safety, the tang safety on the 500 MAY be better for some lefties.
BTW, unless that Ithaca looks like heck, $200 is a great price. Cheapest hereabouts is $300 or so.

reputation as a quality firearm; and if its in good shape $200 is a
