OK, Folks,
the time is rolling around again to choose which subscription I will take for this year.
I am currently looking at two different magazines.
The first one I am looking at is SHOOTING ILLUSTRATED.
It is a fairly new magazine to me, and I have seen it advertised in the back of the Dillon "Blue Press" for a while now. It has always gotten my attention, and I have been meaning to subscribe to it.
The yearly price for 12 issues is $9.95.
The second magazine I am looking at is AMERICAN HANDGUNNER.
This is also a good magazine, and I have always enjoyed the photography of Ichiro Nagata. But in all honesty, I cannot remember how good the articles were...and I don't really like Masaad Ayyoob all that much. (He's getting a little too big for his own head, and he makes some pretty silly hypothesis and statements and passes them as facts).
The yearly price for 6 issues is $9.95.
So to end, which do yall think has better articles and better things to think about?
I will NOT make my decision based solely on the "ghetto fact" that I get 12 issues with one magazine, verses 6 issues with another. I want meat and sustinance. I want food for thought and eye candy every once in a while. (I likey dee purdy pichures).
Help me out, as I only want to subscribe to one magazine. I have other hobbies, hence I have other magazine subscriptions. (The last thing I need are magazines galore in my mailbox and piling-up all over the little table in front of my "Throne Room of Knowledge").
Thanks.
