Which is the biggest gun board

Concur with George. Membership # is not an accurate indication of the board's size. How many folks registered but never posted? How many folks posted but only once and never returned?

I suppose we could divide into active (read & post daily), passive (read and post occasionally), inactive (don't read, don't post but registered) and lurkers (read only).

Like any other site, people drop in, people drop out. It's not about being the biggest, baddest and what not. For us at THR, it's about civil discourse.
 
Kobun only wanted to know the biggest gun board, but never asked anything about the best...cuz he knows THR is the bestest :p

Just have a look at any other board and even a catepillar can figure that much out. :p

I just wantet to know how we rate in number of members.

The other boards probably have a lot of lurkers, and then a bunch of people that make up for most of the postings.
THR is different!
Here we have few lurkers, a lot of people posting, and then about 10 members that makes up for over 50% of the total postings. ;)

THR has grown to 5000+ members in just 6 months. Give it time & it'll have the QUANTITY & the QUALITY to match!
 
I think that not having a huge number of members is a good thing. Keeps the signal-to-noise ratio at a tolerable rate. The more members, the more total wankers.
 
Assaultweb is a big one, too. Dunno total number of nutjobs, but there are lot of different ones posting.

against guns and the paper got flooded with much better writing then mine,I asked the to show some pro gun colors @
www.craigslist.org a very popular liberal forum (I post in the "world political forum) and they did! great bunch them packing folks!
 
How did Skunk get all of those posts? That is insanity! I just had a bad premonition. Someday Skunk is going to get married. We will never see him again. :( How do I know he isn't married already? He shoots nearly every weekend and he has 3400+ posts! No "happily" married man could acomplish such a thing. Like liberals, the wife often will find what you enjoy and make you give it up for the good of "the community". However, unlike liberals, you give in and you post on THR a little less and you shoot a little less because you have to spend "quality time" or you must go over to the inlaws!
 
El Rojo, tell us how you really feel about married life... I guess, you just have to find a spouse that will drag you out to shoot...
