As the title says, I am looking at purchasing a new rifle for this fall's deer season. I think that I have narrowed my choices down to a 30-06 in either the Remington 700 XCR or the Browning A-Bolt Stainless. I think that the prices between the two is pretty comparible, with the Remington possible costing $25 to $50 more at the most. I was wondering if anyone had a recommendation between the two and why. Is one considered more accurate or is it just the luck of the draw? Any comments back will be appreciated.
