Ok I just finished my last PCC. I was able to pick up a FN PS90 at my local cop shop at a killer of a price (could not justify $1300). I now have...

1. Uzi Full Size 9mm
2. M1A1 Thompson 45acp
3. H&K USC
4. FN PS90

Now question is what one should I SBR first as I bought them all to eventually SBR and then keep by the bed side and use as a truck gun around the state. The PS90 is the smallest and I enjoy shooting it as I am a left plus it would have the shortest OAL. The uzi would be the easiest as I already have the 10" barrel from a previous pistol uzi. The thompson would just be awesome. The USC would be the most expensive but it would be a modern UMP .45acp slug thrower.

So what do the people of THR think.

UZI=EZ

Isn't the conversion as easy as twisting off the barrel nut and swapping the barrel out?

I'm pretty sure the others are much more involved.

Yea all u have to is remove the 16 barrel and put 10 in sweet and simple

Not quite you have to either mill a flat on the 10" "machine gun" barrel ring or mill off the tab on the receiver that prevents it from just "dropping" in.

But I vote as doing the Uzi first as it makes an enormous difference in how it handles and then allows use of Uzi specific suppressor mounts with cans like the GemTech Multimount or Thompson Machine ISIS-2.

I'd go with the Thompson for the cool factor(plus how less effective can it be ?)

Yeah I am leaning towards PS90 as its usefulness and that it is 3lbs lighter than uzi and even more so than M1A1. The USC is another 2grand almost to make it the USC but with the time it takes to get the stamp back could spread it out.

If you SBR a PCC, you might as well go and go as short as possible, and wouldn't that go to the PS90?

Thats definitely what I'd do if I could afford to shoot it!

I'd go with the PS90 on the 4 listed. That would be an awesome lightweight PDW as it was originally intended. The 5.7 is also an interesting round that has a lot of potential.

For my personal PCC SBR project, I went with a DI 10.5" upper in 7.62x25mm. Wicked fast round and a hoot to shoot and reasonably accurate as well.

If you're gonna do the whole UMP conversion I say USC! But if you're stuck with the stock form and 10 round mags for the HK then maybe just do the Uzi.

well i think i am going to sell the USC to fund the SBR project of the uzi and PS90 thanks everyone

Well, I guess there's a certain logic to that. Right now you will probably get more for your USC than you paid for it seeing as the gun has been discontinued/dropped from HK's catalog. An extra $1700 or so should let you do whatever you want to the Uzi and FN.
