I love my fairly-new-to-me Rossi 62A. Having grown up shooting an original Win 1890, the Rossi 62A is about as close as I can come without spending original Win coin to buy one. I picked this one up for around $425 on GB in 2020, it was in great shape with only a hint of rust flecks on one flat of the octagon barrel. I checked and saw there are others still on there for a bit more. (The 2020 shenanigans price increase I guess.)
The action is much smoother than the modern Rossi/Henry and it’s pretty accurate. If you want a well made, exposed hammer pump that won’t break the bank, look for one of these and I think you’ll be happy.
Stay safe.
