Which rifle stock length do you recommend for Ak variants? Thanks

That really depends on how you hold the rifle and how long your arms are.

The short AK lengths were originally made for Russian soldiers, which are a little shorter than American ones and usually shot with thick clothing on. I don't mind a short stock, depending on the rifle, but a lot of the larger guys around here want a longer one.
 
I guess I'm about average sized (5'10 145). My arms are about 28.5 inches from top of shoulder to edge of my fingers, or an inch over 5 dollar bill lengths.

I talked to someone who's 6' and said they shoot their AR best with their stock closed. Anyone here have a shorter stock?
