Which would you choose?

Stoeger Cougar 8000 or the Taurus 917c? The 917c looks very nice and is nicely finished. But is it a shooter? I've read its hit or miss with Taurus semi's.QC seems to always be the issue. As many models as Taurus makes maybe they should eliminate the duplication of some models and get a handle on QC.

Taurus 917C

I fell inlove at first sight with my Taurus and after I held it I wanted to make love to it !! This gun looks like a piece of art and shoots like a cannon ! not to mention its high cap. mags , whats not to like ??
