Which would You Chose?

It would depend on the ammo in the gun. I would not trust 9mm ball for a self defense situation, I would rather have a .357 if that is what I was dealing with. If I had a 9mm jacket hollow point defensive load, then the G19 hands down.

The firearm is just the vehicle for sending that little bit of matter down range. Start from the round and work your way back up.

In the interest of a fun thread, I choose G19.

However, I would question my sanity for going into such a situation with just a sidearm (it would take some incredible stakes to get me to go at all). I can't imagine a case where you would know you'd need a gun but couldn't bring a compact rifle.
