So I'am looking more and more at going after whitetails in Idaho. That will give me 3 mouths of big game hunting. Goat in Sept, Elk/Mule deer in Oct. and the white tail in Nov. I will have to hunt BLM. I don't mind driving so anywhere in the state is good for me. I am thinking up around Hells Canyon? Any Ideas?

I drew an 8X tag, and will probably be heading up to Moscow. There should be a second-round drawing, soon. That tag is good from October to the end of the year IIRC, so it's easy to mix it up with other hunting. National Forest up that way.

The country around Hell's Canyon can be ridiculously steep, and I think chukar hunting is fun...:D But it's also ridiculously beautiful, and I'd say, why not?

Where are you hunting the rest of the stuff?

Cool I'll look more into that 8x tag. I hunt the speed goat out in 40 and 42. I then head up to Sawtooth for the Elk and deer.
