Contact the manufacture if you really think it needs to be redone.

The finish is still fine, are you really worried about that?

Robar Companies NP3? I would contact Robar. Obviously I cannot speak for them, but it is possible they might redo the finish at reduced or even no cost. And you can just mail the slide.

And don't scratch it up again. ;)

The pictures show a two-tone gun with a black slide. The slide can not be NP3 as that is an Electroless Nickel finish with Teflon and is a soft metalic gray color. If the gun was finished by Robar it may have had NP3 on the Frame and Roguard on the slide. Roguard is a black Polymer coating with Molybdenum Disulfide. Robar can recoat the slide for you to eliminate the scratches IF the scratches are just in the coating. If the scratches are in the metal then they would need to be removed prior to recoating.

Robar guarantees NP3 and Roguard for life against chipping, peeling and corrosion - but not for scratches and other damage.

OK I got it now, I thought the NP3 was the black, it's Roguard that's the black. Thanks for the clarification. I'll see what Robar can do.

The TGO1's slide is finished by Robar in black. I believe yours is a TGO2 correct? Yours has a black Springfield Armory kote slide over grey NP3 frame. If you want to refinish the slide, ask Springfield if you can send only the slide to them to have it done. You will save money as you don't have to do overnight shipping cause technically, its not a gun but just parts. Nice gun by the way.
