Alright guys, who wears a rig IWB and is tuckable? I mean the people that actually tuck in their shirts?

I've got a "Glaco Inide Pants Holster" that i sometimes carry with my shirt tucked in. I've got the CTAC for my Glock 19 as well, but when i tuck in my shirt with that i look like i have a huge growth on my side or something. Or is it just me thinking this and its all in my head? Anyways, heres a picture of the Glaco holster.

What do you guys got?

I normally use a strong side blade tech UCH, which is tuckable to carry my sig P245. (I've modified the belt loop a bit: Normally it completely encircles the belt with about an inch of polymer, I sawed it off to make a more subtle J hook, which works, but isn't as stable as it is from the factory.

Whenever the need arises, I use the tuck feature, which is frankly a PITA to setup, and while the "growth on my hip" probably isn't as prominent to casual observers as it is to a trained eye, I'm not thinking it'll fool anyone.

Therefore, I only tuck in situations where another garment such as a jacket or vest is likely to be present for most of the time, or in situations that I feel a bit of extra concealment is called for.

For those social occassions when I absolutely, positively can NOT be made, I usually fall back to a j frame in my thunderware.

I've been using a Mitch rosen "Workman" - the origianl tuckable by the way - since it first came out yrs ago. The rest are just copies in my opinion. Could've gone cheaper but, you get what you pay for and I'm not likely to park a Ferrari in a tar paper shack. ;)

Well, a Golck isn't exackerly what I would consider a skinny gun. Are you wearing it right smack dab on your hip or do you position behind the hip bone?

I wear a Springfield Ultra Compact in a Glaco tuckable IWB holster to work everyday and I can assure you; there is no tumor sprouting from my hip.

Day in, day out. Feel naked without it. I have a J-hook on mine, and my wife can't tell if I'm packing or not without patting me down. (I like that part.... :D )

Has anyong tried this Glaco Skyops holster?

Seems to be a really good idea. I really like how they use their own "Y" clippy thing. 3 tabs that seem rather hidden.

One reason i tend not to tuck my shirt in as much as i'd like too is because all other methods are normally either a big loop type thing around the belt (rather obvious) or the J hook type, which makes my gun only supported by my pants and not my belt...which leads to sagging. I know about the new V clips with the velco, but i just can't see myself sewing a long strip of fabric to my belt.

So how about this Skyops holster, anyone tried it before? Worth the price? I'm really tempted by this one :)

When I carry it's usually just IWB but I did just get in my first tuckable. It's a Texas Heritage from Tucker Gunleather. My full sized 1911 feels like nothing with it.

My first, and only, experience with tuckable IWBs was with the same Galco you first mentioned. I tried it with both a full sized 1911 and the small Kimber - I didn't like the way either one of them buldged out so it got sold on ebay. Haven't cared to try one since.

I now carry IWB using a plain Bianchi scabbord holster and really like it.

IWB tuckable

Is best hidden on slender built folks with a slightly oversized shirt bloused out a bit and parked just behind the hip-bone.IMHO
90% of the time I'm wearing an Andrews MacDaniel IWB with a Colt Pocket9. My normal shirt size is large but an XL is what it takes for me to hide the CCW. Before I went to this system I was asked a couple of times "What is that?" For three years now, since I've gone to the larger shirt, I've not had to answer that question.

I carry my SIG 220 in a HighNoon Hidden Ally. I think it conceals best with slightly large darker color shirts.

Tucker Texas Heritage holding my S&W CS45 - 24/7 - the most comfortable holster I've ever used.:) :)

Another vote for Tucker

I carry a Para Tac Four or a G22 in these holsters, tucked, no problem at all, comfortable.

One more vote for Tucker

I carry a H&K P2000 in the Tucker IWB holster. It is very comfortable. Hardly know it's there.

Well I forked out the money for the Comp-Tac shirt tucker and I'm sad to say that I'm extremely dissapointed. First of all the offset belt clip makes it so the holster is so wide you'd have to have a 50 inch waist to conceal the damn thing. It makes the gun stick WAY out of my side and conceal extremely poorly. So much so that I can barely even wear it as a standard IWB holster without printing horribly. Try and tuck the thing and forget about it....I look like a retard with some big block on my side and an incredibly obvious giant black clip on my pants. :banghead:

I also wear a Texas Heritage by Tucker. I have it on right now with a SIG P228 in it, and a dress shirt tucked over it. With my shirt bloused a bit, even the belt clips are covered. Very comfortable, and quite concealable.

Another for the Tucker Texas Heritage. I have 2; one for a .38 snubbie and one for a compact 1911. I like the wide spread of the clips to keep it secure. A single clip, unless off set like some, adds thickness and often allows the holster (gun) to rotate forward or backward. I use a J-hook on the back and an over-the-belt clip in front. On the front one, I attached a clip for my PDA/pager/cell which helps to conceal and distract from any "bulge."

Glock 26 in a CTAC holster. I find a black & white plaid-patterned flannel shirt works well for winter carry if I'm tucking. Combined with black pants and belt the clips are not obvious to the great unwashed masses of people walking around in perpetual Condition White.
. . . best hidden on slender built folks . . .
Nobody who's seen me would describe me as "slender." ;)
