I own a Patriot. It's a very nice gun with great balance and good accuracy. On the downside, the trigger had long and gritty creep that took a lot of judicious stoning and adjusting to work out. They're hard to find and pricey when you do find them, but I see them occasionally on Gunbroker and Ebay both. I'm always looking because I want one of the .36 models to go along with my .45. Apparently the .36's are rather rare.
As Milkmaster suggested, the Traditions Trapper is a good alternative. I own one of those also, and shoot them both together regularly. It has a very light, crisp and predictable trigger, though it has a lot of overtravel. Accuracy is just about as good as the Patriot. The thin front sight allows for relatively precision shooting, though the back sight leaves some to be desired.
