Since they are a strong, new production gun, I am thinking about one of these as a project pistol - maybe get .40, .357 Sig, and 9x25 barrels for it.

How does yours work?

Great!
I had a couple FTF's with the stock mag (only one included) - suggest replacing those.
I think the DW Razorback is a higher quality 10mm 1911, FWIW.

I love mine. I've worked up some nice loads; interestingly, 200 grain Hornady XTP have less recoil than 135 grain Nosler.

I'd buy another one if I could.

Mine is everything I would expect for $850, though I have had a problem with the stock mag. It functions great with every brand ammo I put through it, easy recoil, and more accurate than I am.

I had one for a while. Here are quotes from my prev posts:

"The Kimber was a POS, it was sent back to kimber 3 times while it was mine, bad barrels, sights fell off, internals just disintegrated, finally refund given by dealer. Will never own another kimber as long as I live."

I have one and the quality is good. More than 4,000rds through mine of DoubleTap ammo without a hitch. the only mod that I made is a 24lb spring from Wolff.
