I ordered some IZH35M magazines from EAA as they had the lowest price (if you buy two or more) and were the only place that seemed to actually have any in stock.
With the shipment came an invoice that among other matter, had two lines printed on it.
The first read "Do not sell EAA handguns in Mass, Maryland, NY, Cali..."
Okay, I know about that one.
The second one I am interested in. It reads:
"Do not sell model EARB38 or BU22 in SC, IL or WI".
Now this page-
http://www.titleii.com/Bardwell/nfa_faq.txt
-might be a bit dated, but it gives a table of what different states allow. And IL only allows AOW's, nothing else...... but SC and WI laws allow everything.
So what I am wondering is, what was EAA selling that was -somehow- not allowed in these three states?
(-->I have emailed them already, but thought that perhaps someone here might know....)

Okay now I'm really confused--their reply:
warb38 is the windicator by name

bu22 is the bounty hunter in 22lr

The Windicator is a conventional snub-nosed revolver, and the only Bounty Hunter they sell now is a side-by-side shotgun..????

Dougcxx,

My Windicator is model # EARB357 not WERB. Don't know why it would be banned anywhere.

Sorry that is all the help I can give you. Maybe www.packing.org might have the answer for you.

It may be due to the weight of the guns or the melting point of their metal parts. Some states have "Saturdaynight Special" laws that prohibit the sale of some firearms because of weight and/or melting points.
