Who in Iowa do I vote for that is 2A?

I'm not sure, just wondering...doesn't matter if it's Democrat or Republican, I don't vote party lines. Is there a website that lists the 2A politicians???
 
Senator Grassley, Representative Tom Latham, maybe Rep Steve King (thought he'd be good but wasn't sure on one of his responses to my letters.

At the state level, you really have to dig in and do your homework. Typically though, most republicans aren't ready to get rid of 2A rights.

If you're pro 2A, get one. I can tell you what they give you in benifits, but it's more important what you give them to help support the cause. Every gun owner needs to belong instead of letting 4 million other members take the slack.

Get in the fight. Join. Also, a few dollars to the NRA-ILA would be nice, and the 2nd Amendment Foundation. Those two entities are what fights the fights in Court. They are essential.
 
Mr. Rogers, I am indeed curious as to why, specifically, you do not think the Iowa Firearms Coalition is a good group?
 
I, too, live in Iowa. Am not a member of IFC yet, but am familiar with them. Just curious as to your reasons.

Yeah, I just recently recieved my CCW actually. It was easy peasy, but took almost a month. I think it's because of the shooting... everyone is going to sign up so they are really overworked at the Sheriff's station.
 
I belong to at least 4 pro-gun groups but also have some misgivings with IFC, won't go into it here.
 
Well I am an IFC member and think they are a great bunch. We have some good get togethers, and do a lot of work for gun rights. I would encourage to join and get involved. Sign up at a gun show for $20 a year.
Join the NRA for sure, you can come to a place like and piss n moan or you can get involved. It's up to each of us to make a difference. :)

I wondering if grievances might be aired and (possibly) addressed by MrD about the group in question. I too am a curious Hawkeye who was blissfully unaware of their existence. I am an active NRA member and find membership well worth the price.
