not too practical for hog huntin.
I have a Beta mag for the AR and it works just fine. I consider it a one time use mag though, you'll never have time to reload it. It stays on my ready AR, and I also have plenty of 20 and 30 round mags to back it up.
It adds a little weight, but complaining about the weight is like saying your Hemi doesn't get as good a milage as someone elses 4 banger. Of course it weighs more, it has 3-5 times the ammo load as usual.
Intrigued, but never enough to lay down that kind of money. Maybe one day for an AR.

It s also has that intimidation factor . Great when shtf happens with attacking hordes of looters or what not. But if it gets jam, then you be a good bye mama. Better have a sidearm ready as they can get very tricky.
