Depends on the gun you're shooting them in.
A H&R magnum or .327Fed; you won't see any issues. You just about can't get too much powder in the tiny case.
However, if one of the older .32S&W's or a .32Colt, I'd use .32S&W short data.
I recently used some .32short loaded with 1.1gr of Bullseye and it was just about factory level or perhaps a bit stouter.
BTW; I was using a Lyman .311" 78gr RN bullet. Accuracy from a circa 1910 S&W Hand Ejector was stunning after I'd fitted a new cylinder locking bolt. I don't think the factory original was ever "right". Owner claimed that the gun would mis-fire occasionally the first time he shot it with his grandfather as an adolescent, and he's 72yrs old!!!
He only had some fired .32S&W short cases, even though the gun is chambered for the .32long.
After repair, we were bouncing soda can's at 15yds, and it was hitting poa/poi.
It didn't even dawn on me to try the .32acp cases in it.
I've been eyeing the Ruger Single-7's. May get the urge again to get one.
I really enjoy shooting my KelTec .32, but despise the way it flings those tiny cases!!!
I had a Beretta "Tomcat" that with 1.8gr of Bullseye and 78gr RN would out-shoot my M-22 Glock at 25yds. But, I shot it so much that I cracked the frame and slide. Beretta did replace the gun, however. I sold the new one NIB.
