About the only use I can envision for a 3 1/2 is geese or maybe turkey. I cut my teeth on paper 2 1/2 and 2 3/4 shells for rabbits, duck etc. Coupled with the Zabala 8 pound double I had I could hit anything on the ground or on the wing at any reasonable range.
