If, (oh boy, here we go) by chance, you would be intersted in an inline shotgun, Knight makes the TK-2000. I was really surprised with the quality of it when mine showed up, and it patterns 85% at 40 yards with 2 ounces of #5's and 100 grains 777 ffg. OK, it's a turkey gun, but they also sell different choke tubes for it, and it's very stout for a ML shotty. CVA also had a single barrel side hammer called the trapper if I recall, or at least they did until the Optima shotgun came out a year or so ago.
