Who makes the best collapsible 870 stock?

Who makes the best collapsible stock for the 870? I am looking for pistol grip collapsible stock similar to what is found on an AR.

how comfortable are the collapsible stocks compared to regular stocks when shooting 00 buck?

In 2009 I went to an instructors course and was provided an 870 with the Knoxx stock. We shot on average 25 rounds a day . With standard stocked shotguns my shoulder gets a little tender after just 10 rounds. With the Knoxx stock those 25 rounds were no problem at all. It almost felt like we didn't fire any buckshot. This was a police instructors course and we used full power 00 buck. I can recommend the Knoxx stock hands down.

I second what others have said, Knoxx stocks are completely worth the price you pay when it comes to shooting heavy loads.

What about Mesa Tactile? Never shot one myself, but many swear by them.

I just put a Mesa leo on mine. Very comfortable, very well made stock.

i have an ATI on my 870 and it is very good for the money. you could probably spend a bit more and get a better product though.

IMHO I would say the Mesa stock conversion kit. Just be prepared for more recoil.

That looks painful. I don't understand how it could be better than the Knoxx unless you enjoy pain.

Shoot all day and never get sore. Shoot 3" magnum slugs if you want.
