So I went out shooting yesterday with the intention of patterning my shotgun because it's my last free weekend before Turkey season and because it was one heck of a nice day for the state of Michigan with sun, minimal wind, and 40 degree weather. First though I couldn't find my darn Super-Full Choke so I said I would try using a full and see what happened (I was much more interested in just shooting something than looking for my choke all day), then I couldn't get the 24" barrel off my shotgun because it's been on for a number of months and didn't have pliers handy. My setup from last year was a 28" barrel and turkey choke, long barrel for the sight radius and extra weight. So I went out shooting with what I assumed was a pretty un-ideal setup for turkey... well I was pleasantly surprised!
The 24" Barrel and regular full choke with 3" Remington #6 Magnum loads gave me a pattern that was just as dense as my turkey choke had been. Looks like I have an extra barrel and an extra choke now cause I don't need em.
Other bit of luck, finally got my .22 Rifle to get the Iron Sights working properly and on target.
