Something ain't right with that video. I am guessing it is staged. The music reminds me of a Disney flick.

Given the handheld camera, shaking, and walking movement, the person shooting the scene was fairly close, it would seem, and yet not really bothering the animals. They don't even seem to notice...like they are animal actors.

Well, the "pig" is an African Warthog for starters.



It looks like the lion wasn't really hungry, or the massive jaws would have delivered a crippling blow to the neck.

My guess is that the lion grabbed the Warthog becuase it was a target of opportunity.

I often find that the lions I grab, back off also, and when I head-butt them, it hurts them enough that they know who they're messin' with.

That is an African bush pig. Was charged by one while working in South Africa many years ago.

Looks like the lion was distracted by a perceived threat, like other humans. If the lion was concentrating on killing the pig, it would have, IMO.
