Well it happened, as I knew it would. While cutting down a tree my Sig P-225 fell out of the shoulder holster I had forgotten to either take off or button shut and into three feet of very wet snow, down to an even wetter mud layer below. By the time I found it the pistol was wet and covered with muck. But after checking the bore for foreign bodies I decided to do a little field test. Everyone told me Sigs were great city guns but had their tolerances too tight for good field use. Well I got no jams in two magazines with this mud puppy.
Anyone have real problems with Sigs jamming in bad conditions?
