Les Baer
Colt may still offer it
Enterprise
Kimber
Springfield
Strayer-Voigt
STI

That's all a quickie search turned up for me. May be others and maybe a few of these no longer offer it. 'Tis one of those really good rounds that's ben overshadowed and forgotten.

Colt has regular production..
Springfield did away with the parkerized milspec..they have a shiny version now.
Kimber has one..not sure if only limited runs or not.
Dan Wesson offers a 38 super
Rock Island has one
STI and SV...

easy to convert..
STI, Kimber, Springfield have 9mm that would be easy to fit a 38 super barrel too..

Been told that the Kimber "custom shop" isn't anything more than a seperate production run. Each model get's it's own run and in time, each model has a production run. Eventually, is run time for the "custom shop" models. Same line, same folks. So I've been told.
Anyways, the Kimber stainless target II is avail in .38 Super and is a std production model. I'f i were serious nuff to go with this cartridge, I'd spend the extra and go Les Baer anyways. After all, you get what you pay for.

If you want to be really exotic,

get your SVI in 9x23!

Mine will happily chamber .38 Super as well.

I wouldn't be surprised if S&W doesn't come out with one in the future. Was reading in American Rifleman that Doug Koenig was shooting for SW now, and he would be receiving their first 38 Supers.

Tanfoglio/Witness - buy a 38 Super, and you can get conversion kits for 45ACP, 10mm, 40SW, 9mm, and 22lr. Comes in a full size and compact flavor.

9X23

9X23.... I love this round.

I've been hesitant to try .38 Super, but I do have a box of it.

I have a 9X23 SV and it's the only pistol several friends keep wanting to trade me for... One friend in particular offers me different combination of guns in trade almost weekly. Recently he tried swapping me a camping trailer. :)

Tejas pistols are really nice!

...any photos of your SV9x23

I love 9x23..have a couple of open guns in the caliber and have had a couple of singlestacks and STI 2011 in 9x23...

hoping to build a commander size on a SV/STI frame soon..

.38 super is used alot for "race gun" compititions. It was real insane for me seeing someone shoot a SVI 1911 race gun, it almost looked like it was on full auto :what: . i would never get into the sport of race guns because i dont see the practicallity of such a gun. Its more of a toy to mess around with and tinker. These guys have there slides with basically no tension. trigger pull is so damn low. :scrutiny: its crazy

Sorry, they are on the other computer and I relocated my wireless router, so I can't get into the other puter right now. Technology... :)

Hmmm, crazy, eh? I even carry mine sometimes. With 20 or 21 rounds you don't need a second magazine.

I like 1911s, I have three. Three is definitely not enough. I also have a Glock, but rarely carry it. The Glock is mostly just for shooting entertainment.

Anyway, thanks for letting me know I'm crazy, I would have never figured it out on my own.
