I have been trying to work with Bryant Ridge to sell a gun for me on GunBroker. But it's been weeks with very little contact and not doing what they say they're going to do, so I'm getting uncomfortable with them and looking around as to what other companies might be out there that are more on top of their game. So any suggestions are welcomed. Bryant Ridge seems to have a good rep and sell a lot of stuff on GB, but I hate being ignored.

I've never bought or sold anything on GB, but do have a verified membership. I do not want to sell it myself, so please no suggestions to do so. Gun should be worth $3K-$4K.

Bryant Ridge seems to ..... sell a lot of stuff on GB

They run a business. Profit for them to sell a civilian's gun would be marginal, at best. Don't expect them to drop everything for merely marginal profit.

You want their service? You'll have to adjust to their schedule.

A gun worth $3-4K should be of interest to RIA or similar firearm auction sites. Their 20% commission might end up costing you less than paying agent and GB fees.

Thanks for the info.

My avatar. Colt Realtree Anaconda. Bought it new back in '96 as a hunter and never went hunting with it. My son doesn't want it and I never shoot it anymore, so figured it's time to let it go. I have the box, case, papers, etc.

A couple of months ago I bought a gun from them on Gunbroker and was really pleased with the transaction and their service. Since then, every couple of days I get an email offering to sell guns for me. So, at least they’re trying to promote that part of their business with me. I was thinking about giving them a chance to thin out my safe so I’m kind of interested where this discussion is going.

Last September I was contacted by a local man (told me he was dying of cancer) who had shipped dozens of his guns to Bryant Ridge and had the same complaints. Local guy was unhappy with either the service or price BR was offering.

Local guy thought he was being low balled by Bryant Ridge. He thought his homemade Anderson AR pistols with red and blue "accessories" were worth $1000+ or more each. They were the typical guns seen for sale at gun shows by "hobbyists" that just like to build AR's. Buying a $50 AR lower, ebay parts kit and customizing it doesn't make it collectible or even desirable.
