Those that own a Ruger SP-101 with wood grips please post some pics and comment on how they feel.

I've been looking at a couple and really think I am liking something in a cherry color but want to get some ideas first before purchasing. In addition, if anyone can recommend some sites to take a look at that would be great!

I have tried the longer and shorter grips (one with the pinkie hold) and ones with out that sort of rests below.

I have to be honest that the one without the pinkie extension feels better but how does it shoot? (This would be for CCW)

I currently have the Hogue rubbers on there now, and it shoots fine. How much of a recoil jump should I expect from getting wood?

I HAVE WOOD!!!

My SP101 wears wood grips from Hogue. Rosewood ones. Honestly, I dont feel that much of an increase in recoil, and I find them to be more easily concealed because a cover shirt will slide over the wood rather than stick like it does with rubber, so it prints less and catches the gun a lot less.
Hogue grips shape helps a lot. I couldn't comfortably shoot magnums without it.

You guys have to be kidding. Am I the only guy with wood around here?

(sorry, couldn't help myself)

I got wood
Badger grips that Marc at Gemini Customs put on with his package. I like them myself but they don't "give" any. Not bad to shoot but not an all day thing.
