Why can't I escape this thought?

Me telling myself, "You need a 2.5 inch Smith 686, but find a blue 586(?) if you can."

What is going on here in my head that I cannot shake this thought? I have never owned a revolver though I have fired a share. I have never had a less than 3.5 inch barrel pistol. What is the mystique of the L-frame snubbie?

I have a 686 2.5" that I have had for about 10-12 years. It is one SLICK feeling gun and a great shooter. And, NO, YOU CAN'T HAVE IT! (You DO NEEEEEEEED one though!)
(Lotta help ain't I??? I try to do whatever I can!)

My 2.5" 686-3 has one of the best DA triggers of any Smith I own.

Plus, you're right; there's just something businesslike about an L-frame snubbie. Those have always been (along with 3" Model 13s) for some reason associated with "serious gun-toters" in my mind.

A 2.5" RB Model 19 has always struck me as business like.

Sure do like the 3inch L frame 44 Spcl I just got.
Tamara's is bsolutely right...very businesslike from the other end. Really like mine.
