Why I Love Kansas

I love Kansas for the abundance of game all year long. I hunt turtle doves in the early fall, pheasant/quail in the late fall and deer during rifle season. During the spring, we hunt varmints and the spring and summer, we hunt prairie dogs. Most farmers and ranchers will let you hunt except during deer season. They make a lot of money from the Outfitters who have taken over during that time. Its a great state and with CCW coming, its even better.

I took a trip to Lawrence, KS back in college.
No hunting since it was to attend a sculpture convention with a bunch of art department types. I remember seeing a lot of red wing blackbirds.

It sounds like you ought to be able to keep the freezer full there though.
