There are several vendors make AKs in US, some with cast receivers, and maybe forged, but no one make Galil or like. Century made Golani long time ago, I don't think they still make it and probably no one miss it anyway! I almost bought one when it was available but heard so many problems. While they make tooling to make AKs in US, Galil type "AKs" will have more value, likely sell better and higher price, but I don't see any in market. AKs are still coming in to US but no more Galil except part kits but receivers are hard to find.
Some may say they will never buy a US AK, that is not the question here. I won't buy a US AK as well, but I may buy one if there is Galil kind in forged receiver and bolt group.

I had a lot of exposure to actual IMI galils working in various locations south of Texas. IMO, they leave a lot to be desired.

Cool features, cool looking to me--like an assault rifle should. Heavy, trigger slap, expensive mags, no good way to mount a scope. Mine was in 5.56, purchased newish for about $700 in the early '90's. I guess the previous owner was as underwhelmed as I was after awhile. Never really had any functional issues with it. Sold it to a collector friend a short time later. About the same time I could have bought one in .308 for about the same price. Glad I didn't...

Mine looked like this

good luck
