I have two LNIB Winchester '94s: a Legacy and a Trapper, both in .30-30. I bought the Trapper before I heard the news about the plant closure because I had wanted it for awhile. I ran out and got the last Legacy at the gunshop as soon as I heard the news.
I'd put about 50 rounds through each to check out ballistics and see how they'd sight in. Then I put them away, .30-30 being more expensive to shoot than my other rifles. After awhile, I told myself that I'd sell them, since they were gathering dust in the safe.
On a whim today, I took the Trapper out to the range to get rid of the last box of .30-30 I had. I had so much fun, now I can't bear to part with it!
The Legacy is now safely hidden behind all the other guns, lest I can't resist the urge to take it out next weekend. (It's for sale, btw, if anyone is interested) I have a few other safe queens that need to go as well. Someone take the ammo before I make another mistake!
