Why Should I Buy An LCR Over A 642?

I was going to read the whole thread, but here's your reason:

Ruger > S&W.

"Ruger > S&W". Really ? This should open a can of worms. If 20 reply to this message 10 will explain why Ruger is better and 10 will explain why S&W is better. Thinking maybe reasons why would be far more effective than a just dropping a thread granade and running. I own both Rugers and Smiths cant say one is better than the other

Is the LCR a better platform for long-term durability?

Short answer: the LCR doesn't have anywhere nearly enough history to make a determination yet. Seems to be a good snub, but it's only been around a couple of years.

I didn't run - I'm still here. The LCR has a way, way better trigger than the 642.
