Really? I suppose that blaming anything or anyone is simply "tired and outdated" thinking to today's generations. Then again, they DO get exactly what they deserve with that infantile thinking, right?

QC is responsible for insuring that the products, and their components, meet the design specifications. They have no other purpose. The failure of QC, for whatever reason, be it worn-out machinery, incompetent handlers, or even specifications in design, is what causes consumers to complain.

As the designs used were proven to work well for, oh, about a century, that isn't the issue.

Trying to get anyone to believe that the buyer of multiple manufacturers of firearms wouldn't understand the manufacturing processes in Marlin is similarly ludicrous, no matter how outdated one finds the idea.

All in all, the only thing useless and out dated so far, is the idea that QC isn't responsible for, if nothing else, alerting the senior management of the issues encountered. No matter the century.

WRONG! That's manufacturing's and procurement's job. Design's too, actually.

You were wrong about "QC"...

Now you changed QC's responsibilities compared to what you wrote above. At least you're closer to the truth...
 
A post a while back said to not speak out cause they will close up and go overseas. I hope by speaking up, it gets back to them people are unhappy. If I do have a problem I have not problem talking about my real world experience.

What really hurts them is companies like Rossi who make a gun with more of the stuff you want stock, like peep sights, for the regular price. What really hurts is having to send a $600 gun back three times.

When I did send my guns back, besides complaining about the product, I did mention how I have other ones and like their product.
