Not wanting to hi-jack Carbon-15 thread....

Since I'm looking to add one to my Buckmark. Why did you select the red dot or Holo sight brand you are using?

Was it the price, features, ease of use, battery life, visual easier to see, or a gift? Tell us all your reasons....

:D

I wanted to try using something other than iron sights.
BSA 30mm is cheap to try ($30), works well enough indoors.
Kinda large at 4 MOA, but the intensity has a good range of adjustment.
The BSA 50mm has much worse internal reflections, apparently.

The BSA 2X field scope is also the cheapest regular pistol scope option I know of, and it works well enough also, though it has no AO.

I got a Docter Optic red-dot for my MkII because I already owned one I use on my Uzi, and knew I liked it. Plus it's nice and small. Seems sort of silly to put a huge scope on a handgun.
