I'm looking for a red dot scope for my Ruger 22/45. I've narrowed it down to these two sights. Which would you choose and why? If you have another sub-$100 option to consider, please choose other and post your choice.

Thanks!

I like the TRS-25 for size and quality it works well, mine rests on a Neos.

I am currently running the same Tasco as Greg on my 10" MKII and have no issues with it.

I voted for the Primary Arms, though. I have an extra laying around, and I have been contemplating putting it on my MKII just b/c I think it will look better and be a little lighter.

I have the TRS-25 on a Ruger MkIII hunter. Works great and its plenty bright enough. The size seems to be just right.

I'm not familiar with the primary arms model.

I'm running an inexpensive Bushnell Trophy 1 X 28 red dot. I have it mounted on a Ruger MK III 22/45TB... and it drops bowling pins at 100 yards! Well balanced, lite weight and holds zero! You did not mention what type of shooting... if you need speed on target, you might not want to consider it... otherwise it's a great solution!!

Most any Red Dot sight will work fine on the Ruger.

Among others I have a couple dozen $30 BSA sights on everything from 22 pistols to shotguns.

So far, in the under $100 range it looks like the Bushnell is getting more votes here. I keep seeing good stuff about Primary Arms though. I'll probably take a last look at this poll and make a decision later on tonight or maybe tomorrow and order something. The thing about the Bushnell that's bugging me is that if I was doing this a few months ago when they had a rebate going on I could have gotten it for $40 or so, now I can get either sight for about the same $85.

I will add.. I dealt with Primary Arms, and their customer service is EXCELLENT. I tried 2 of their (now they don't carry) green dot sight. I ended up buying my Burris Fast Fire through them. They were gracious and quick with my concerns.
