wide trigger help

My Dad started shooting bullseye last year and is having trouble with his trigger on his Mark 3. Some one at our club told him he needs a wider triger ( he has arthritis very bad). He is thinking this would help hem since his trigger finger has trouble bending. My question is where can I get a boot for over his trigger to make it wider or do I need to get a whole new trigger.
