coupla small cans of chicken broth, taters, carrots and onions. Salt and pepper to taste. Turn it on in the morning and serve it for supper. If you want you can thicken the broth for gravy.
Roll in seasoned flour and brown in a frying pan with bacon grease. Transfer to crock pot and then fry up some garlic and onions in the same pan. Deglaze the pan with some white wine and chicken stock and add this to the crock. Yummy. This works good with any game bird.
