I just got a cool little Bauer .25ACP pistol. I can't find a .25 boresnake or brush and I'm anxious to give the gun a try. Has anyone had any success using .22 cleaning stuff on these little guns?

Other then short section containing copper bristles it should work fine. The stuff is so hard to pull through that I use 16ga boresnake for 12ga shotguns.

The .22 Boresnake I recently bought for my MK III is REALLY snug. It couldn't be made much tighter.

The .357 snake I bought two years ago is snug in a .357/.38/9mm barrel, but not nearly so tight as the .22 has proven to be.

Thus, I'm guessing a .22 might well get the job done on a marginally larger bore -- the difference is only .03".

Never had a .25, so I don't know, but you have nothing to lose by trying it and you might well find it fits reasonably well.
